The MyCelx product line is highly customisable with multiple combinations of different types of MyCelx chemistries available to achieve the required oil and grease concentration in water. A MyCelx system does not work under physical gravity separation principles but rather through chemical binding principles.

Because MyCelx uses chemical binding rather than adsorption or physical separation, it is also able to treat much smaller droplet sizes and stronger emulsions than conventional separation methodologies.
