Your role is to tailor solutions for contaminated Water Streams

What is Your Role -

  • Generate New Leads
    • Communicate clearly with new leads
    • Update company CRM with lead information
    • Update the manager on the progress of client development
  • Proposal Development
    • Use Master Costing Sheet to price for proposal (this may include in-house trials for our clients)
    • Write up a proposal and review it with your manager
    • Work alongside the Engineering Department for process design input for proposals/tenders
    • Liaise with clients to review the designed water treatment system
    • Maintain communication with clients for PO or trial hire system
  • Trials and Pilots
    • Prepares the layout and instruction for trial setup upon Trial Documentation
    • Work with technicians for trial implementation
  • General Responsibility
    • Liaise with client from enquiry through proposal to order phase
    • Handover of projects at Kick Off Meeting (KOM) to designated Engineer and/or Project Manager(s)
    • (potential) attend networking lunches, dinners, and other opportunities (i.e. Webinars) to establish connections within the industry and develop market awareness of OLEOLOGY processes & innovations.

Main Objective of role: To provide efficient and safe engineering builds with our team of technicians based in Perth, WA and Brisbane, QL

This position reports to:  Lead Technician and Technical & Production Manager

Experience and Competency Requirements:

  • Be well versed with the safety and quality standards followed in a conventional factory setting
  • Be trained in using a wide range of machines and equipment used in different production units

Position Specific Requirements: (General Day to Day Duties)

  • A Technician carries materials and equipment from one part of the facility to another. He also operates some machines and tools in the facility, and levels the fuel, chemicals, or any other material that is needed to keep the machine running.

    A Technician cleans the facility area and the machines and equipment installed there. He may assemble and disassemble machines, change defective parts, install new machines and equipment, follow instructions of various staff or perform a specific set of duties as per the job requirements.
  • Sometimes, a Technician is required to perform tasks such as record maintenance, serve guests, deliver samples of finished products, and other duties as assigned by the authorities. Other times, he may be involved in specialized work such as assembling materials to prepare a finished product.
  • Reply and check emails daily
  • Monitor and reply on electronic media platforms (e.g. WhatsApp, Toggl etc.)

 

Carrying Materials, Machines, and Tools

  • A Technician is assigned with the task of carrying raw materials, machines, and tools from one place to another in the facility. He is required to listen to the instructions of the production staff and accordingly carry the specified quantity.

Cleaning, Repairing, and Maintenance

  • A Technician is asked to clean, repair, and maintain certain machinery and tools in the facility. Additionally, he may also clean the factory area or assist the housekeeping staff in this regard.

Purchasing, Store Supply Management & Stock Control

  • A Technician is assigned with the task of purchasing and storing necessary supplies for the facility. These supplies may include raw materials, stationary, chemicals, fuel, safety kits, or other materials and devices required on a routine basis in the factory.

Operate Machinery

  • Operating different machinery and equipment in a production facility. Sometimes, they may also train and assist other staff in safe and efficient operation of a particular or various machine at the plant.

Cleaning Duties

  • Cleaning toilets weekly and check daily , kitchen cleaned weekly and checked daily and wash facilities
  • Keep company vehicles clean and tidy, checking on maintenance schedules
  • Cleaning office windows and removing cobwebs

Deliveries and Orders

  • Carry out all aspects of filling client orders including online con notes
  • Deliver items and pick up items from suppliers and clients

OH&S

  • Carry out all work in a safe manner following all company OH&S policies, also has the power to stop anyone working in an unsafe manner.

About You

The position of Senior Process Engineer has a dynamic application to work with other team members to support process design activities throughout all project life cycles including Feasibility Studies, Front End Engineering Design, Detailed Design up to Operation and Maintenance primarily for delivering water treatment solutions to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining and Chemical industries. OLEOLOGY has a fast-growing team looking for other motivated engineers to join this exciting new opportunity as part of the company’s expansion in Malaysia.

 

You Should Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 10 Years of proven experience in process engineering (equipment sizing, process simulation and design)
  • Experience in conducting feasibility studies, gap analysis, asset debottlenecking and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding on process design and layout drawings (GA's, PFD & P&ID).
  • Experience in design of water treatment plants and facilities will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of general industry related standards for Oil & Gas, Mining and General Industry.
  • Proactive & self-starter attitude.
  • Learn quickly and able to adapt and work independently in Malaysia and reporting to the Australian office.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations – knowledge in Hazardous Area Classification requirements will be an added advantage.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with both Design Engineering and Operations Team to provide process engineering support during design of new systems or debottlenecking of existing assets.
  • Report to Engineering Director - Perth.
  • Involved in problem-solving in process design and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct Asset Surveillance and Performance Management on existing systems installed at client site via remote monitoring support using process monitoring tools and programs developed by OLEOLOGY.
  • Development of Process Control Philosophies for Water Treatment Systems.
  • Development of CTRs, Technical and Cost Proposals for clients.
  • Coordinate Management of Change (MOC) process of OLEOLOGY assets and hire equipment, managing asset registers.
  • Conduct or participate in Risk Assessment, HAZOP, HAZID, JHA.
  • Development of Operational and maintenance manuals for water treatment systems.
  • Coordinating contractors for builds and commissioning.

About You

OLEOLOGY is seeking a results-driven Marketing Executive to support regional growth through targeted lead generation, brand positioning, and campaign execution in the mining, oil & gas, and wastewater treatment industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing digital marketing channels, following up with leads, coordinating campaigns, and aligning marketing strategies across regional and head office operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Industry-Focused Lead Generation & Engagement

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities in mining, oil & gas, and industrial wastewater sectors across Australia, Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
  • Follow up on inbound leads, qualify prospects, and liaise with the sales team for handover or direct nurturing.
  • Maintain a database of potential clients and ensure timely communication through email, phone, or digital platforms.

2. Digital Marketing & Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute targeted digital campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, EDMs, etc.) to raise awareness and generate leads within the industry.
  • Develop content for blogs, newsletters, brochures, and case studies focused on technical solutions and industry relevance.
  • Monitor campaign performance and generate monthly analytics reports with recommendations for optimization.

3. Brand & Content Management

  • Maintain and update the OLEOLOGY website and social media platforms with fresh, relevant content.

4. Event, Tradeshow & Conference Support

5. Internal Marketing Operations & Coordination

  • Ensure all marketing efforts align with corporate identity and strategic objectives from OLEOLOGY’s head office in Perth.
  • Collaborate with cross-border teams to maintain consistency across platforms and campaigns.
  • Support budgeting and vendor management for marketing tools and services.

You Should Have:

1. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably within the mining, oil & gas, water treatment, or industrial engineering sectors.
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, digital campaign management, and technical content development.

2. Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Mailchimp, HubSpot).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage).
  • Understanding of technical topics such as filtration, wastewater systems, industrial processes is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated with excellent follow-up and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign metrics and refine marketing strategies.
