OLEOLOGY has successfully installed MyCelx Technology in the Surat Basin in eastern Australia to remove stable oily emulsions from water.

Removal of oily emulsions from CSG water in the Surat Basin has been confirmed in the field near Dalby using MyCelx technologies. Water that could not be treated to achieve the discharge compliance as required by the EPA has been successfully treated by MyCelx technology. Reducing raw oily emulsions ranging from 200ppm to over 800ppm, at the inlet, to less than 10ppm in a footprint of 1.2m x 1.6m, the system amazed the operators.
